...ENHANCED WIND GUSTS TO 30 KNOTS POSSIBLE ASSOCIATED WITH ACTIVITY
APPROACHING OPEN WATERS FOR AREAS WEST OF THE FARALLON ISLANDS...

The areas affected include...
Waters from Point Reyes to Pigeon Point 10-60 NM...
Waters from Pigeon Point to Point Pinos 10-60 NM...
Waters from Point Pinos to Point Piedras Blancas 10-60 NM...

* At 533 AM PST, Doppler radar indicated showers, capable of
  producing winds to around 30 knots. These showers were located 55
  miles southwest of the Farallon Islands, moving east at 45 knots.

Locations impacted include...
  Mainly open waters of Waters from Point Reyes to Pigeon Point
  10-60 NM, Waters from Pigeon Point to Point Pinos 10-60 NM and
  Waters from Point Pinos to Point Piedras Blancas 10-60 NM.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and reduced visibility due to heavy rainfall. Boaters should
seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.

These showers and occasional thunderstorm will likely produce winds
to around 30 knots, and could pose a serious hazard for boaters. A
Special Marine Warning may eventually be required if activity
intensifies. Boaters should consider heading for shore before the
storm arrives.
