.DISCUSSION...Surface high pressure has weakened slightly with
light to moderate northeast winds through tonight. Occasional
gusts up to 15 mph are possible this afternoon and
evening. Poor daytime humidity retention continues today with
fair overnight recoveries expected. Conditions improve Friday
after a weak cold front passes through the region with improved
daytime humidity retention and light to moderate southwesterly
winds expected. Gusty conditions may develop around the time of
frontal passage with highest confidence in gusts up to 15 mph. Low
confidence but isolated stronger gusts may mix down from the
higher elevations. Another round of offshore winds is expected
Saturday and Sunday which will result in drier conditions
returning.
