.DISCUSSION...The forecast is rather quiet today and tomorrow, with
the main challenge being the low cloudy forecast. Currently, high
clouds obscure much of the low level clouds that are being observed
around the Bay Area. Given the marine layer is at about 1500ft or so,
it`ll be close to whether or not the morning starts off socked in with
clouds. Models show any low level clouds clearing the San Jose area
by the late morning or early afternoon hours. Skies should be sunny
with light winds out of the northeast. The low cloud challenge
returns tonight and into Tuesday morning, the marine layer may only be
around 1000-1200ft, so perhaps not creeping up ridge line. Confidence
is medium to low on the cloud forecast which means we could also see
some variation in the low temperature forecast. Outside of that, the
min and maxRH forecast is a bit tough. If the marine layer is able to
creepy closer to the ridgeline like it has the last few nights, there
should be very good recovery from minRH values in the 51-61% range
today and the 49-59% range on Tuesday.
