...Discussion from SFOFWFMTR...

Localized, elevated fire weather conditions continue across the
elevated terrain above the marine layer (above 2000-2500 feet).
Minimal fire weather concerns continue within the marine layer with
good overnight recoveries and poor to fair daytime humidity
retention between 30% to 45% continuing within the interior. Poor to
fair overnight recoveries are expected above 2000 ft with poor
daytime humidity retention between 15% to 25%. Locally breezy
onshore winds to around 25 mph continue within mountain gaps/passes,
along the coast, and within the Salinas Valley. Temperatures warm
to seasonal to slightly above normal temperatures starting
Wednesday through the extended forecast.

...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA...

High temperatures are slightly lower today and will be similar on
Wednesday as an upper low approaches the area. Tonight this upper
low moves over the area and may bring a thunderstorm or two to
Humboldt, Del Norte or Trinity counties. Confidence is very low on
these thunderstorms. The marine layer will likely deepen with the
low moving closer tonight and Tuesday nights. Much warmer
temperatures are likely Thursday into the weekend, with triple
digits likely in most of the interior along with a shallow marine
layer. RH recoveries slightly worsen later in the week, with Max RH
in the 40s and 50s in the eastern portions of the area.
