...Discussion from SFOFWFMTR...

...ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER THREATS CONTINUE THROUGH MONDAY...

Elevated fire weather conditions continue through Monday due to warm
and dry conditions. Breezy onshore winds develop each afternoon and
evening, with gusts reaching 30-35 mph through gaps, passes, and
favored valleys and across elevated terrain. Poor overnight humidity
recoveries persist above 1500 feet. A pattern change starting
Tuesday will being cooler conditions and a deeper marine layer.

...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA...

Dry northeast flow and poor overnight RH recoveries on the ridges
are promoting elevated fire weather conditions through today.
Otherwise, hot and drier weather conditions are expected through
Tuesday with generally weak, terrain-driven wind with low mixing
heights though Tuesday. Interior highs peaking in excess of
100 Today and Monday. Daytime RH in the teens percent and perhaps
even the single digits, especially in Trinity County. Marine
influence will be restricted to only the immediate coast. Dry
weather will continue next week, but with a gradual cooling trend
and improved RH recoveries by mid to late next week. On Thursday,
elevated fire weather threat should be possible with enhanced
onshore winds and low daytime RH in the teens and 20`s, especially
in Lake County.
