.DISCUSSION...Clear skies and moderate onshore winds continue
through Sunday evening. Widespread wetting rains and a chance for
thunderstorms arrives late Monday morning with scattered rain and
thunderstorm chances lingering through Tuesday. Any thunderstorms
that develop bring the risk of lightning and locally heavy
rainfall. Around half an inch to an inch of rain is expected in
the valleys with 2 to 3 inches possible in the higher elevations
of the South Bay and the Central Coast. A warming and drying trend
kicks off on Wednesday.
