.Synopsis for the Central California Coast and Bays Including
the Monterey Bay...Greater Farallones...and Cordell Bank National
Marine Sanctuaries...

A low pressure system located 600 miles southwest of the Bay Area
will stay well to our south and reach southern California Tuesday.
Dry weather and mainly light winds will continue over the coastal
waters through early week until the arrival of rain and a cold
front late Tuesday night and Wednesday. Cold, unstable air aloft
will result in showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms later
Wednesday and Wednesday night. Showers continue Thursday then dry
weather temporarily returns Thursday night before rain returns
Friday.
