The National Weather Service in Missoula has issued a

* Snow Squall Warning for...
  North central Lemhi County in east central Idaho...

* Until 1045 AM MST.

* At 1003 AM MST, a dangerous snow squall was located over North
  Fork, or 19 miles north of Salmon, moving northeast at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...Whiteout conditions with near zero visibility associated
           with intense bursts of heavy snow and gusty winds leading
           to blowing snow. Wind gusts to 45 mph.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous
           within minutes.


Locations impacted include...
US-93, North Fork, Gibbonsville, Lost Trail Pass, Leesburg, and
Shoup.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Consider avoiding or delaying travel until the snow squall passes
your location. If you must travel, use extra caution and allow extra
time. Rapid changes in visibility and slick road conditions may lead
to accidents.
