...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of northern Lake and
central Flathead Counties through 745 PM MDT...

At 656 PM MDT, the public reported strong thunderstorms along a line
extending from 7 miles east of Columbia Falls to near Woods Bay.
Movement was west at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Torrential rainfall.

SOURCE...Public.

IMPACT...Ponding of water in low lying areas.

Locations impacted include...
Columbia Falls, Woods Bay, Bigfork, Creston, Hungry Horse, Martin
City, and Lakeside.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 2 between mile markers 134 and 143.
 Highway 83 between mile markers 77 and 90.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
