...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of northwestern Lake and
southwestern Flathead Counties through 845 PM MDT...

At 821 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 15 miles west of Kalispell to 18 miles
northwest of Kings Point to 6 miles west of Big Arm. Movement was
northeast at 60 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Kalispell, Evergreen, Columbia Falls, Woods Bay, Bigfork, Big Arm,
Proctor, Somers, Lake Mary Ronan, Elmo, Dayton, Kila, Lakeside,
Creston, Rollins, La Salle, and Niarada.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 2 between mile markers 101 and 139.
 Highway 83 between mile markers 77 and 90.
 Highway 93 N between mile markers 66 and 122.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
