...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northeastern Lake,
northern Missoula and south central Flathead Counties through 1115 PM
MDT...

At 1026 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Turtle Lake, or 7 miles east of Polson, moving north at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half-inch size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Polson, Woods Bay, Swan Lake, Turtle Lake, Kings Point, Bigfork, and
Finley Point.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 83 between mile markers 54 and 88.
 Highway 93 N between mile markers 55 and 59.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
