...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northeastern Deer
Lodge and southeastern Powell Counties through 915 PM MDT...

At 840 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles east of Deer Lodge, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph quarter inch size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Deer Lodge and Elliston.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 90 between mile markers 185 and 186.
 Highway 12 Garrison to MacDonald Pass between mile markers 22 and
26.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
