.DISCUSSION...

Idaho (Zones 102, 103): Scattered thunderstorms are expected this
afternoon and evening, bringing lightning and gusty outflow winds of 40
mph, with stronger storms producing gusts over 50 mph. Isolated hail is
possible, but the main concern is strong, erratic winds. Storms may
linger through the evening. On Thursday, storms are expected to stay
mainly south of the area, with wetter storms likely on Friday into
Saturday.

Northwest MT (Zones 104, 105): Isolated thunderstorms are expected
today, with gusty outflow winds possible. Thursday will be cooler, and
storms are not expected. Rain chances and amounts have increased for
Friday into Saturday, especially across the Flathead National Forest.

West Central MT (Zones 106, 107, 108): Scattered thunderstorms are
expected this afternoon and evening, bringing lightning and gusty
outflow winds of 40 mph, with stronger storms producing gusts over 50
mph. Isolated hail is possible, but the main concern is strong, erratic
winds. Storms may linger through the evening. On Thursday, storms are
expected to stay mainly south of the area, with wetter storms likely on
Friday and Saturday.

Southwest MT (Zones 109, 110, 111): Scattered thunderstorms are
expected this afternoon and evening, bringing lightning and gusty
outflow winds of 40 mph, with stronger storms producing gusts over 50
mph. Isolated hail is possible, but the main concern is strong, erratic
