.DISCUSSION...
Idaho (Zones 102 and 103): Cool temperatures and isolated showers will
linger today with general, terrain-driven winds. A warmer and drier
pattern will set up for Thursday and Friday. Widespread rain and cooler
weather are expected to return by Sunday.
Northwest MT (Zones 104 and 105): Cool and moist conditions will
continue today, though temperatures trend a little warmer today. The
warming trend continues for Thursday. Southwest winds of 10-15 mph are
expected Friday afternoon with isolated showers. Widespread rain and
cooler weather will return by Sunday.
West Central MT (Zones 106, 107 and 108): Cool and moist conditions
will continue today with a chance for scattered showers. A warming trend
takes hold for Thursday. Southwesterly wind gusts of 15-20 mph are
expected on Friday afternoon with isolated showers. A return to cooler,
wetter weather is expected on Sunday.
Southwest MT (Zones 109, 110 and 111): Valley rain and mountain snow
showers are expected today and will linger into Thursday morning. A
warming and drying trend is then expected for Friday and Saturday.
Breezy west-southwest winds with gusts of 20 to 30 mph are expected
Friday afternoon, particularly over ridges. Widespread precipitation and
much cooler weather are forecast to return by Monday.
