Idaho (Zones 102 and 103): A strong ridge of high pressure will
maintain very hot and dry conditions through this weekend. Expect low
afternoon RHs with poor RH recoveries on the midslopes and ridges. A
wave of energy will increase cloud cover today and bring a 15-20
percent chance of showers and thunderstorms by this afternoon. Little
to no precipitation is anticipated with the main threat being gusty
outflow winds of 35-45 mph.

Northwest MT (Zones 104 and 105): A strong ridge of high pressure will
maintain very hot and dry conditions through this weekend. Expect low
afternoon RHs with poor RH recoveries on the midslopes and ridges. A
wave of energy will increase cloud cover today and bring a 15-20
percent chance of showers and thunderstorms this evening into Thursday
