.DISCUSSION...

Idaho (Zones 102 and 103): Another round of showers and thunderstorms
are expected today, with coverage focusing across eastern portions of
the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forest. Westerly breezes will develop
this afternoon, with gusts of 15-20 mph. Confidence is increasing for a
prolonged period of hot and dry weather next weekend into the following
week.

Northwest MT (Zones 104 and 105): Another round of showers and
thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and evening. Wetting rains
will be favored across northern portions of the Kootenai and Flathead
NF, with probabilities reaching 50-70%. Westerly breezes will develop
this afternoon, with gusts of 15-25 mph. Confidence is increasing for a
prolonged period of hot and dry weather next weekend into the following
week.

West Central MT (Zones 106, 107 and 108): Isolated showers and
thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and evening. Spotty wetting
rains will accompany shower and storm activity, with highest
probabilities focusing eastern portions of Flathead Reservation at
40-50%. Westerly breezes will develop this afternoon, with gusts of
15-25 mph. Confidence is increasing for a prolonged period of hot and
dry weather next weekend into the following week.

Southwest MT (Zones 109, 110 and 111): Another round of showers and
thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and evening. Districts east of
the I-15 corridor have the highest probability (70-80%) of seeing
wetting rains through this evening. Wetting rain chances quickly drop
off to 20-30% across northern portions of the B-D and Bitterroot NF.
Westerly breezes will develop this afternoon, with gusts of 15-25 mph.
Confidence is increasing for a prolonged period of hot and dry weather
next weekend into the following week.
