.DISCUSSION...
Idaho (Zones 102 and 103): Cool, damp, and breezy conditions are
expected today with scattered rain and mountain snow showers and high
humidity. A colder airmass arrives Sunday, changing all precipitation to
snow in the high valleys and high terrain by Sunday night. Widespread
showers and much cooler temperatures will continue through Monday.
Easterly winds also develop on Monday.
Northwest MT (Zones 104 and 105): Today will be chilly and damp with
scattered rain and mountain snow showers. Sunday will feature a
transition to all snow, accompanied by gusty north to easterly winds and
falling temperatures. Widespread showers will continue through Monday,
with significant accumulations in the mountains. Easterly winds increase
on Monday.
West Central MT (Zones 106, 107 and 108): Expect cool temperatures,
high humidity, and scattered rain and mountain snow showers today. It
will become colder Sunday with precipitation changing to all snow by
Sunday night. Widespread showers and cold temperatures will continue
through Monday. Blustery easterly winds on Monday will create raw
conditions.
Southwest MT (Zones 109, 110 and 111): Today will be cooler with
scattered showers, high humidity, and breezy west winds. Colder air
arrives Sunday, with widespread showers changing to snow Sunday night
into Monday. Gusty easterly winds are also expected on Monday.
