Idaho (Zones 102, 103): Today will be the hottest, driest day of the week with humidity in the valleys dropping into the low to mid teens. Tomorrow will be similar but a few degrees cooler and humidity starts to rise with moisture coming into the area. That moisture will bring a chance of thunderstorms Wednesday. Independence Day and the weekend will see near average temperatures, showers and thunderstorms. Northwest MT (Zones 104, 105): Today will be the hottest, driest day of the week with humidity in the valleys dropping into the low to mid teens. Tomorrow will be similar but a few degrees cooler and humidity starts to rise with moisture coming into the area. That moisture will bring a chance of thunderstorms Wednesday, especially along the Continental Divide. Independence Day and the weekend will see near average temperatures, showers and thunderstorms. West Central MT (Zones 106, 107, 108): Today will be the hottest, driest day of the week with humidity in the valleys dropping into the low to mid teens. Tomorrow will be similar but a few degrees cooler and humidity starts to rise with moisture coming into the area. That moisture will bring a chance of thunderstorms Wednesday. These storms will be capable of gusty outflows 35 to 45 mph and hail. Independence Day and the weekend will see near average temperatures, showers and thunderstorms. Convection develops this afternoon with the potential for outflow winds 35 to 45 mph, and isolated gusts over 60 mph. Wednesday will see another round of potentially severe thunderstorms.
