...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM EST /6 AM CST/
THIS MORNING TO 7 AM EST /6 AM CST/ SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Snow will begin this morning, moderate to heavy at times.
  The snow will mix with sleet and possibly freezing rain this
  afternoon and early evening.  Total snow accumulations between 2
  and 4 inches and ice accumulations around one tenth of an inch.

* WHERE...Portions of southwest North Carolina and southeast
  Tennessee.

* WHEN...From 7 AM EST /6 AM CST/ this morning to 7 AM EST /6 AM
  CST/ Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road
  conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday
  morning and evening commutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for
the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.

Persons should consider delaying all travel. Motorists should use
extreme caution if travel is absolutely necessary.

THIS MORNING TO 7 AM EST /6 AM CST/ SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Snow will begin by mid to late morning, moderate to heavy
  at times this afternoon and evening.  The snow may mix with sleet
  or possibly freezing rain for areas east of interstate 81 and 75
  this afternoon. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 6 inches
  west of interstate 81 and 75, and 2 to 4 inches east.  Ice
  accumulations around a light glaze.

* WHERE...Portions of east Tennessee and southwest Virginia.

* WHEN...From 10 AM EST /9 AM CST/ this morning to 7 AM EST /6 AM
  CST/ Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road
  conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday
  morning and evening commutes.
