  Central Carter County in east Tennessee...

* Until 1045 PM EST.

* At 957 PM EST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over Colonial Heights, or over Kingsport, moving east
  at 50 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Johnson City, Kingsport, Oak Grove, and Spurgeon around 1005 PM
  EST.
  Bristol Tn around 1010 PM EST.
  Elizabethton around 1020 PM EST.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Hunter, Morril`s Cave, Bluff City, Tri-City Airport, Blountville,
Watauga, Sadie, South Holston Dam, Sullivan Gardens, and Rocky Mount
State Park.

 Interstate 26 in Tennessee between mile markers 2 and 21.
 Interstate 81 in Tennessee between mile markers 54 and 71.
