* Until 200 PM EDT.

* At 135 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 6 miles northeast of Maynardville to 7 miles west of
  New Market to 7 miles northwest of Sevierville to 8 miles west of
  Pigeon Forge, moving northeast at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Luttrell, Newport, Panther Creek State Park, Maynardville, Bird
  Crossing, Rose Hill, Buffalo Springs, Fairgarden, Strawberry
  Plains, and Kimberlin Heights.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 in Tennessee between mile markers 395 and 435.
 Interstate 81 in Tennessee between mile markers 1 and 10.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with these storms. Move indoors immediately. Lightning
is one of nature`s leading killers. Remember, if you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
