...INCREASED FIRE DANGER FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING...

Dry surface conditions and gusty southwest winds today, will pose
an increased threat for fire danger conditions for eastern
Tennessee and southwest North Carolina this afternoon and evening.
Relative humidity may drop to 20-25 percent, with wind gusts
up to 20 mph expected.

Continued dry weather can be expected through the coming weekend.
A dry cold front is expected to traverse the area Saturday night,
lowering temperatures for Sunday. The next change of rain arrives
on Tuesday. High winds are expected Tuesday afternoon through
Wednesday.
