Numerous showers and thunderstorms will move through the area this
afternoon and evening with heavy rain rates and the threat of
localized flooding. Drier weather is expected for Wednesday and
Thursday. It will continue to be mostly dry for Independence day and
the holiday weekend, and hotter conditions can be expected as well.
