.DISCUSSION...

Light to moderate rain and snow showers will develop across the area
today before transitioning to all snow by midday, and becoming
focused mostly in the higher elevation this evening and overnight.
Overall, accumulations are expected to be light in the lower
elevations with a dusting to 2 inches possible, but the higher
terrain of the east Tennessee mountains could pick up significant
snow today through Monday morning. Hazardous cold temperatures will
occur between tonight through Thursday morning.
