...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT KEWEENAW COUNTY THROUGH 945 AM
EDT...

At 846 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 17 miles northwest of Rock Harbor to 21 miles
south of Grand Portage. Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Windigo around 850 AM EDT.
  Mount Desor around 855 AM EDT.
  Siskiwit Lake around 905 AM EDT.
  Mott Island Park Headquarters and Rock Harbor around 925 AM EDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
these storms pass.
