...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM OVER THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Lake Superior from Saxon Harbor WI to Upper Entrance to Portage
  Canal MI 5NM off shore to the US/Canadian border including Isle
  Royale National Park...
  Lake Superior from Upper Entrance to Portage Canal to Manitou
  Island MI 5NM off shore to the US/Canadian Border...

At 510 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located
12 nm northeast of Rock of Ages Light, or 21 nm west of Mott Island
Park Headquarters, moving northeast at 25 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.
