432 FLUS43 KMQT 052033 HWOMQT Hazardous Weather Outlook National Weather Service Marquette MI 433 PM EDT Sat Oct 5 2024 MIZ002-004>007-009>014-084-085-061200- Ontonagon-Baraga-Marquette-Alger-Luce-Gogebic-Iron-Dickinson- Menominee-Delta-Southern Schoolcraft-Southern Houghton- Northern Schoolcraft- 433 PM EDT Sat Oct 5 2024 /333 PM CDT Sat Oct 5 2024/ This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Upper Michigan and western Upper Michigan. .DAY ONE...Tonight Isolated strong thunderstorms are possible this evening over western Upper Michigan and then over central Upper Michigan late evening into the early overnight period. Gusty winds to around 50 mph and some hail will be possible with the strongest storms. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday On Sunday, wind gusts up to 40 mph are expected along the Lake Superior shoreline in areas that are exposed to west to northwest winds off of the lake. Large waves on Lake Superior may lead to minor beach erosion along the beaches from around Ontonagon to Copper Harbor on Sunday and along the beaches of Alger and Luce counties Sunday afternoon and Sunday night. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
