944 FNUS73 KMQT 261942 FWSMQT Spot Forecast for Dutch Mill...USFS National Weather Service Marquette MI 342 PM EDT Sat Apr 26 2025 Forecast is based on ignition time of 1100 EDT on April 27. If conditions become unrepresentative...contact the National Weather Service. .DISCUSSION... Clouds build throughout the day on Sunday as the warm front of an approaching low pressure slowly moves over us throughout the day and evening. While southerly flow will initially be light early in the day, expect it to pick up Sunday through Monday as the low approaches from the Northern Plains towards western Lake Superior. While the forecast calls for min RHs down around 40 percent, I wouldn`t be surprised if we get down into the 30 percents given the soils. Expect highs in the 50s on Sunday to give way to the lower 60s by Monday as the warm front moves in. There could be some issues with ventilation as the warm front goes through the area, with a strong inversion setting up over the lower portions of the atmosphere by Monday. The inversion over the area will be weakest on Sunday, when the effects of the departing high pressure will still be felt. Rain showers and thunderstorms could begin to impact the spot late Monday, and could potentially continue on-and-off throughout the overnight hours. The cold front could potentially bring a line of showers and thunderstorms over the area early Tuesday morning before drier and cooler weather is seen behind it. .SUNDAY...
