Strong wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph are expected this morning across western Minnesota. We have observed sporadic wind gusts up to 55 mph shortly after precipitation ended across W MN. These wind gusts appear to be associated with a wake low pressure behind the line of thunderstorms. Winds gusts may cause damage to trees and vegetation. $$ BPH
