...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN DUNN...EAU CLAIRE
AND NORTHEASTERN PEPIN COUNTIES UNTIL 445 PM CDT...

At 409 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles south of Fall Creek, or 16 miles southeast of Eau Claire,
moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Eau Claire, Altoona, Augusta, Fall Creek, Fairchild, Rock Falls,
  Foster, Brackett, Allen, Caryville, Lake Eau Claire County Park
  and Downsville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
