...EXTREME COLD WARNING HAS EXPIRED...

With temperatures warming into the single digits below zero
alongside weaker winds compared to earlier this morning, wind chills
have improved to the mid 20s below zero. Air temperatures are
expected to further warm into the single digits above zero later
this afternoon and evening, with wind chills recovering slower due
to increasing southwesterly winds later today. Overall, we have
warmed above the cold weather criteria both in air temperatures and
wind chills across the region, and are not expected to see a return
to the 30s below zero for wind chills.
