.DISCUSSION...
It will be a taste of summer today for south central MN as temperatures
surge into the 80s. These warm temperatures will come on the heals of
southwest winds that could gust as high as 35 mph. With temperatures this
warm RH values could also dip as low as 30%. As you approach sunset, a
cold front will be approaching from the northwest. This will start to
push down the wind speeds after 4pm, though a switch to a northwest
direction is not anticipated until 9pm.

Sky/weather.........Partly sunny (55-65 percent).
Temperature.........54 at forecast start...Max 85.
RH..................90 percent at forecast start...Min 34 percent.
Wind (20 ft)........Winds south at 10 mph at forecast
                    start...otherwise South winds 10 to 17 mph
                    shifting to the southwest 18 to 22 mph late in
                    the afternoon.
Smoke dispersal.....Poor /11000 knot-ft/ at forecast start.
                    Max...excellent /98900 knot-ft/ increasing to
                    excellent (110600 knot-ft) late in the
                    afternoon.
Mixing height.......800 ft AGL at forecast start...otherwise 4700
                    ft AGL.
