.DISCUSSION...
We will see a cold front come out of the Dakotas early this
evening that will sweep across the planning area tonight. We`ll
have south winds with isolated showers during the day, with the
winds switching to the WNW tonight. Those winds will become quite
breezy (wind gusts to 30+ mph) Sunday and Monday with a surface
low passing across northern MN. The best chances for rain over the
next few days will come with the front tonight, then again when
the surface low passes nearby Sunday night into Monday morning. We
see a pattern shift into a typical summer airmass Wednesday, with
highs getting back into the 80s and dewpoints in the 60s, which
will keep RHs in check. In additions, we`ll have to watch out for
the potential for thunderstorms with have rain Wednesday night
through Thursday night.
