...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FOR MONDAY AFTERNOON AND EARLY
EVENING FOR WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA...

.DISCUSSION...A record warm airmass with highs in the upper 60s
to lower 70s, combined with afternoon dew points dropping into the
20s, will lead to humidity values falling to 15 to 25 percent by
late Monday afternoon. West winds will increase through the
afternoon with gusts up to 35 mph by early evening. These
conditions will lead to the potential for critical thresholds
being met across west central Minnesota. Lighter winds and higher
RH are expected to the south and east, leading to elevated
conditions. Much colder air will arrive Monday night behind a
cold front.
