SOUTHERN MINNESOTA TODAY...
.DISCUSSION...
A secondary cold front moving into central MN is bringing with it
northwest wind gusts of 30 to 40 mph, with some sporadic gusts
over 50 mph. Wind speeds of 20 to 25 mph will persist today as RH
values drop near or below 30 percent this afternoon. There could
be a few hours where portions of western MN drop below 25 percent
for RH, however this should be during a period when gusts start
to drop below 20 mph. Looking ahead, there continues to be little
chance for moisture and warming temperatures mean that fire
weather will likely remain elevated.
