...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 245 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Alabama, including the
  following counties, Butler, Conecuh and Covington.

* WHEN...Until 245 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1145 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen with
    additional rainfall expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Evergreen, Georgiana, McKenzie, Odom Crossroads, Shreve,
    Travis Bridge, Garland, Brooks, Mount Olive, Wilcox, Old
    Town, Avant, Mount Union, Rabb, Shell, Brownville, Cohassett,
    Grace, Chapman and East Chapman.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
