Sensitive fire weather conditions will exist today. The Storms
Prediction Center has placed an Elevated Fire Weather Risk across
the area for today. A reinforcing cold front early today will produce
a tight pressure gradient with northwest winds of 8 to 12 mph resulting.
Frequent higher gusts to around 22 mph will be likely. Minimum relative
humidity values in the low 30s. Cool and drier conditions will exist
again tonight. Winds will be lighter on Saturday, but conditions will
remain dry with low relative humidity continuing.
