.DISCUSSION...

Slightly drier conditions than previous days today. High coverage
of clouds expected to delay development of the sea breeze a bit,
reaching the burn site between around 1-2 PM and increasing light
southeasterly winds to 5-10 mph. There is a 40% chance for a
shower or lightning storm to develop on the sea breeze around this
time, before pushing inland. Rain chances continue to increase
through the afternoon, topping out around 60% in the evening, then
gradually decreasing. Lightning strikes, gusty winds, and heavy
downpours are the primary concerns with any storms that develop.
Winds become light southeast overnight, following a similar
pattern Tuesday. Higher moisture and rain chances Tuesday. Min RHs
60-65% today and 65-70% Tuesday. Afternoon smoke dispersion
Generally Good. High temperatures in the U80s with peak afternoon
heat indices in the U90s.
