High rain chances and decreasing confidence in convective timing
due to increasing moisture and broad, weak instability. Highest
chances (50-70%) and greatest coverage of showers and storms
today between 2 PM and 7 PM, and between 1 PM and 8 PM with
slightly higher chances for an early start Wednesday.
Light S-SE winds early this morning become SSE at 5-10 mph in the
late morning, shifting to the S while diminishing after 8 PM,
becoming light overnight. Wednesday S winds increase to 5-10 mph
in the late morning, shifting to the SSW at around 10 mph in the
afternoon. Min RH 55-60% today and 60-65% Wednesday. Afternoon
smoke dispersion Generally Good today and Wednesday, bordering on
Excellent Wednesday. Afternoon highs around 90 with peak heat
indices around 100 today and Wednesday.
