.Discussion...
A reinforcing cold front will move through tonight, leading to
another surge of cold and dry air into central Florida. Coldest
temperatures for the season so far will combine with elevated
northwest wind speeds to produce wind chill values as low as the
mid 20s to low 30s late tonight through early Thursday morning.
A much drier airmass behind the front and across the area Thursday
will continue to produce sensitive fire weather conditions. Cooler
than normal temperatures are forecast through the day, with Min RH
values falling to the 30s to low 40s across the interior, west of
I-95. Northerly winds will be around 10 mph across the interior
and around 15 mph and gusty along the coast in the afternoon.
It will remain dry through Friday, but RH values will recover and
remain above critical values as winds veer to the east-southeast.
Dispersion values will be generally good on Thursday and good to
very good on Friday.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not forecast.
Localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or existing
fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
