.Discussion...
Expect another round of scattered to numerous showers and
lightning storms this afternoon (50-80%), with coverage highest
near and west of Orlando southward toward the Lake Okeechobee
region. Gusty winds, frequent lightning, and heavy rain are
possible in the vicinity of storms today. Storm chances will
lessen to scattered coverage (40-60%) early this week and
temperatures will remain hot. Minimum RH readings will hold
above 55% each day. Light winds will turn southeast from
5-15 MPH in the afternoon hours. Dispersion will range from fair
today to good or very good Monday.
Fog potential and other remarks...light ground fog is possible
early this morning north of Orlando. Widespread dense fog is not
expected. Localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or
existing fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
