.Discussion...
A cold front draped across northern Florida/Deep South this
afternoon will push southward tonight, and across east central
Florida Monday. Widespread rain with embedded lightning storms
will accompany the front, with most areas receiving 0.25-0.50"
of rain. Windy and gusty conditions will develop on Monday,
with west to northwest winds 15 to 20 mph, up to 30 mph at times,
through the day. Conditions will turn cooler, drier and less
windy on Tuesday and Wednesday. Winds turn NW/N on Tuesday and
decrease to around 10 mph across the interior, and 10 to 15 mph
along the coast. Light south to southeast winds on Wednesday with
speeds generally less than 10 mph. Min RH values will drop to near
35 percent over the interior on Tuesday, and near 30 percent
across the interior on Wednesday. Smoke dispersion values will be
very good to excellent on Monday, and good to very good on
Tuesday.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not forecast.
Localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or existing
fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
