.DISCUSSION...
A weakening front approaches Florida today, stalling across or just
north of Central Florida through late week, increasing rain chances
again across the area. A non-tropical low pressure system is
forecast to develop over the Atlantic waters along this boundary
Friday night into early Saturday, shifting the cold front southward
through the region and ushering in drier air this weekend and early
next week. Breezy conditions return today and are forecast to
continue through Saturday, with winds out of the northeast through
late week and becoming northerly into Saturday. A much drier post-
frontal airmass builds into the area early next week, but there are
no MinRH concerns. While transport winds will be strong, low mixing
heights will be the limiting factor for dispersion values, which are
forecast to be Fair to Generally Good through late week.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not forecast.
However, localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or
existing fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
