.Discussion...
Lower shower and storm coverage is expected today, with isolated
to scattered showers and lightning storms forecast into the
afternoon and evening as the east coast sea breeze moves inland.
Shower and storm chances then increase, mainly north of Okeechobee
County and the Treasure Coast into Tuesday as moisture increases
across northern portions of east central Florida ahead of a weak
frontal boundary. Hot and humid conditions will persist early this
week. Highs will reach the low to mid 90s today and low 90s on
Tuesday, with peak heat index values 102-107F each afternoon.
Smoke dispersion values will be generally good today, and poor
to fair on Tuesday.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not expected.
Localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or existing
fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
