.DISCUSSION...
Breezy/gusty conditions this afternoon ahead of an approaching cold
front will begin to settle going into the evening. Isolated to
scattered showers and isolated lightning storms remain possible
through the late evening, then mostly dry conditions expected after
9 PM. The front pushes through Central Florida tonight and early
Wednesday, clearing the area by around noon with little fanfare
other than low clouds. High pressure behind the front builds into
the southeast Wednesday, then shifts south Thursday. Winds 5-10 mph
shift from the NW-NNW Wednesday to the NE-ENE Thursday. Min RHs 50%
or higher Wednesday, dropping a bit Thursday but still 40% or
higher. Afternoon dispersion values Poor to Fair both days. Rain
chances 10% or less.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not forecast.
However, patchy fog and/or low stratus clouds will be possible early
this morning, especially across the interior. Localized visibility
reductions due to smoke from new or existing fires will be possible
even if fog is not forecast.
