.DISCUSSION...
There are no Min RH concerns this week as we return to a more
typical pattern of hotter afternoons with isolated to scattered
showers and storm chances (35-60%). Coverage will be greatest each
afternoon and evening across interior east central Florida, as
onshore flow carries rain chances westward (away from the coast).
Maximum heat index values approach 102 to 107 degrees by mid to late
week with the potential for some locations to eclipse 108 degrees,
especially Friday and Saturday. Generally good smoke dispersion is
forecast on Tuesday, followed by poor to fair dispersion beginning
Wednesday as transport wind speeds decrease.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not forecast.
However, localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or
existing fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
