.DISCUSSION...
A weak cold front will oscillate northward today before cleanly
pushing south of the area Monday. Although a few early morning
showers may linger north of I-4, most areas are forecast to remain
dry through late morning. Rain chances then rebuild south and east
across the area through the afternoon and evening, with continued
rounds of showers forecast overnight. South to southwest winds
develop late this morning but may become more variable across the
far north including areas of Lake and Volusia counties. Winds
increase to 10-15 mph out of the north Monday behind the front,
gently shifting out of the northeast on Tuesday. High pressure then
builds Tuesday into mid week, promoting a stretch of dry weather.
There are no low RH concerns through the period. Smoke dispersion
becomes good to very good south of Orlando and the Cape today. Poor
to fair smoke dispersion is forecast areawide on Monday.
Fog potential and other remarks...Patchy to areas of fog is forecast
across portions of east central Florida early this morning.
Localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or existing
fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
