.Discussion...Diminishing shower chances near the coast early
this morning and across the interior/Kissimmee River during
the afternoon. Lightning storms are not forecast today and
should stay west of east central Florida. This as Tropical
Cyclone Rafael continues well west of the region and drier
air infiltrates from the east. Still advertising dry conditions
this weekend, though cannot rule out a brief sprinkle or shower,
especially near the coast, as we retain onshore winds. Breezy
conditions gradually winding down - most likely for near the
coast as the pressure gradient slowly relaxes. Afternoon max
temperatures will continue above climo into the extended as
well as warm overnight mins. Generally Good dispersion each
day, with no min RH concerns. The next weak frontal boundary
will approach from the north early next week.
Fog potential and other remarks...Fog is not forecast. Localized
visibility reductions due to smoke from new or existing fires will
be possible even if fog is not forecast.
