.DISCUSSION...
A continuation of light south-southwest surface flow will persist
through Tuesday before winds turn predominantly onshore mid to late
week. The east coast sea breeze will still veer winds onshore Monday
and Tuesday, beginning at the coast each afternoon. Heat concerns
remain through Wednesday with peak heat indices 102-107, and values
may approach 109 degrees on Tuesday. Scattered to numerous afternoon
and evening lightning storms are forecast each day with above normal
rain chances toward the latter half of the week. Good daytime smoke
dispersion is forecast today with fair to good dispersion Tuesday
and Wednesday.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not forecast.
However, localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or
existing fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
