Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest
one third of the waves, along with the occasional height of the
average highest ten percent of the waves.

Synopsis for Flagler Beach to Jupiter Inlet out to 60 nm

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure over the northern Gulf coast this morning
will strengthen as it slides east along a frontal boundary located
just north of the area. The low will continue to deepen along the
Carolina coast Monday and sweep a trailing cold front across the
local Atlantic waters, bringing high coverage of rain with
embedded storms. A surge of west and northwest winds will occur
around this deep low pressure Monday and Monday night with gusts
to Gale force over the open Atlantic. Weak high pressure builds
east from the Gulf and settles over the Florida peninsula on
Wednesday, pushing seaward Thursday.

.GULF STREAM HAZARDS...West to southwest winds will increase to
20 to 25 knots Monday morning with frequent gusts to gale force
in the afternoon. Seas will build to 6 to 7 feet Monday afternoon
and to 8 to 11 feet Monday night.

The approximate location of the west wall of the Gulf Stream based
on the Real Time Ocean Forecast System as of Friday, March 7th.
