Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest
one third of the waves, along with the occasional height of the
average highest ten percent of the waves.

Synopsis for Flagler Beach to Jupiter Inlet out to 60 nm

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front is expected to move east-southeast over
the east central Florida Atlantic waters tonight with high
pressure expected to build over the eastern US this weekend.
Isolated to scattered offshore moving showers and lightning storms
are expected tonight which will be capable of occasional to
frequent lightning and wind gusts up to 40-50mph, and small hail.
A Marginal Risk for severe storms exists over nearshore Volusia
county where the potential exists for wind gusts up to 60mph
(5-14% risk) and hail up to 1" in diameter (5-14% risk). Poor
boating conditions return in the Gulf Stream tonight through early
Sunday on freshening northwest winds and building seas.

.GULF STREAM HAZARDS...Northwest winds at 15 to 20 knots and seas
to 4 to 6 feet.
